Yoga Training to Taekwondo Players - Concluded
October 05, 2008
"Yoga holds a special place for
players as it provides physical and mental toughness along with inner
peace that would help players remain disciplined throughout the life and
achieve success." This is the key message for all Taekwondo players
imparted by a Croatian yoga teacher, Ljubomir Zivcoc who is just
imparted yoga lessons to Taekwondo players of All Nepal Taekwondo
Academy.
Yoga teacher, Ljubomir Zivcec said
that the players have been trained, both practically and theoretically
on how to control the breathing system to remain healthy and strong
throughout the life. Zivcec, who likes him to be called "Maitreya"
started the two-month long yoga class to Taekwondo players on the
request of President Anuyaj Gautam. Ljubomir "Maitreya" attracted
towards "yoga and sadhana" after dissatisfaction in his job as an
assistant to medical surgeon. Maitreya has also studied the Puranas and
the Geeta to extend spiritual knowledge, is teaching same subject in
Zagreb, Croatia said that he had found the players quite disciplined and
interested in yoga and said that the training Taekwondo player was a
unique experience to him.
Yoga Class was made quite lively and interesting with
the help of devotional Hindu songs and the concept of "Dynamic Yoga".
Dynamic Yoga is helpful to improve Taekwondo skills and the
exercise of yoga makes the players active, strong and provides maximum
flexibility to the body essential for all players not only on Taekwondo.
A special training class was scheduled for the holders of black belt,
second Dan and third Dan holders to continue Yoga class in future.
Academy offers "Special Thanks" to Ljubomir Zivcoc,
Croatian Yoga Master on giving volunteer service & his contribution to
impart Yoga's lesson to the players of academy.
